The conference will contribute to the new church development movement by:

  • training planters, supportive networks, and coaches
  • enriching spiritual resources through revitalizing worship and focused prayer
  • promoting synergistic conversation and strategic cooperation among individuals, districts, and agencies
  • assessing individual and organizational capacities for leadership

The New Church Development Committee of the Church of the Brethren through the General Board and with cooperation from the Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership and Bethany Theological Seminary will serve as the organizers and main supporters of this event.

Graduate Course Opportunity

This conference is a required component of Foundations of Church Growth: M245 through Bethany Theological Seminary. Students in M245 will participate in several days of class prior to the conference as well as during the following week. Instructor is Jonathan Shively, D.Min.
